Answers about your test

You will receive an SMS with the test result on the phone you provided at the sample collection site.

You will receive an email with a link to download your laboratory report, which is also an international certificate (its second page is in ENG), allowing you to travel to countries outside the EU.

You will receive an SMS with a password to download your laboratory report/international certificate.

You can access your EU certificate with the test result from Tečka app or from www.ocko.uzis.cz (where it will be automatically uploaded). This allows travel to EU countries.

If you have received an email from us, but you have not yet received an sms with a password, please wait. It often takes 1-2 hours to receive the sms. This is caused by a large number of text messages and emails being sent from our laboratory in a short period of time.

If you still have not received sms from us 2 hrs later, please contact your sample collection site as we probably do not have your correct phone number. Landline numbers are not accepted.

Borderline test result means that the genetic information of SARS-CoV-2 virus was detected in a very small amount in the sample. Due to the unknown history of the patient, it is impossible to evaluate test result as negative or positive. For proper evaluation, PCR test should be repeated at least two days after previous sample collection. To ensure the safety of those around you, we recommend self-isolating/ minimizing the number of contacts until your next test result. To obtain a request for a repeat PCR test, please contact your GP. This repeated PCR test is fully funded by the state. Based on the borderline test result, it is impossible to receive a COVID-19 Certificate of Recovery.

The EU certificate is issued by UZIS (Institute of Health Information and Statistics). Our laboratory sends test results to ISIN (Infectious Disease Information System), from where the information is then used to generate a certificate. This process can take up to 24 hours and is completely independent of our laboratory. In case of problems with downloading the EU certificate, contact UZIS, via ocko.uzis.cz.

If you received a positive test result, your test result will not show at www.ocko.uzis.cz until the 6th day of sample collection, when you will be able to download your Certificate of Recovery from your profile.

We recommend using PC instead of a mobile phone to log in. If you are using a mobile phone, the last part of the link we sent you in the email must be copied to the GUID field. It is the part after the last slash and has the format 1- XXXXX. In the password field, enter the password you received in the SMS.

Make sure to clear your history/cookies or use a different web browser if you are not accessing your first laboratory report. Your browser is set to remember data and will automatically pre-fill old log in data.

Test results are available on the same day of sample delivery to our laboratory. Prompt sample delivery to our laboratory is the responsibility of sample collection sites. Please, inquire at your sample collection site regarding the time of test evaluation.

Our laboratory does not work on Sundays, so samples collected on Saturdays are typically analyzed on Mondays and results are available on Monday evenings. The sample collection site should have provided this info to you during sample collection.

If you did not receive your result within 48 hours of sample collection and you did not submit your sample on a Saturday, please contact your sample collection site for more information.

Fill out our form on this website and we will send you a new SMS.

You have to provide your travel document number at the sample collection site. If you have done so, and your travel document number is not shown on your certificate, please contact your sample collection site.

It is not possible to add the travel document number to the international certificate once it has been issued.

You can find your EU certificate at www.ocko.uzis.cz. Laboratories do not issue EU certificates. The international certificate you downloaded from DIANA Lab is valid for the Czech Republic and outside the EU. Its second page is translated to English.

The EU certificate issued by UZIS (Institute of Health Information and Statistics) is also uploaded to Tečka app. Our laboratory sends test results to ISIN (Infectious Diseases Information System), which UZIS uses to generate a certificate. This process can take up to 24 hours and is completely independent of our laboratory. In case of problems with downloading the certificate, contact UZIS at www.ocko.uzis.cz.

  • If you have received an SMS with the test result, but you have not yet received an email, please wait. It may take 1-2 hours more to receive the email. This is because a large number of text messages and emails being sent out from our laboratory in a short time period.

Tečka app is red due to a regulation of the Ministry of Health, which has proclaimed PCR tests no longer sufficient to enter many public facilities/events/services. However, your result is valid and you can also download your test result with a QR code from www.ocko.uzis.cz, or you can use the laboratory report we have sent to you. It is valid.

Laboratories do not issue QR codes. QR codes are issued by the state body ÚZIS through Tečka mobile app and via www.ocko.uzis.cz. You can log in there using your personal data and download your certificate with a QR code.

  • The Certificate of recovery is not issued by laboratories. It can be found at www.ocko.uzis.cz. The Certificate of Recovery will be displayed at ocko.uzis.cz after quarantine has elapsed. This information is provided by local Sanitary-Epidemiological Stations (in Czech: Krajská hygienická stanice, KHS) via website, infoline, etc. If KHS has not contacted you, you can proactively contact them and ask your questions.

Answers for those interested in Guardiana tests

PCR detects the presence of viral RNA in the body. PCR test can determine if a person is currently infected with coronavirus. Its big advantage is that it can reveal infected persons before they even have any symptoms and before they are infectious.

At the collection site, you will receive a funnel with a test tube. It is necessary that you spit sufficient amount of saliva into the test tube via the funnel. Detailed instructions can be found here.

Our tests combine reliability of PCR testing with painless and convenient self-collection of sample. Our tests have undergone detailed validation study in collaboration with the University Hospital Na Bulovce, which showed high sensitivity and further advantages over standard nasopharyngeal swabs, and even a slightly higher rate of detection of positives than the reference swab sample.

PCR tests from saliva are suitable for everyone, whenever you need a fast and a reliable result. They are also suitable for children and everyone who wants a painless sample collection. Saliva PCR tests allow for easy self-sampling and reduce people’s reluctance to retest. In addition, they have higher sensitivity and easier sampling than antigen testing.

Yes! Our tests help monitor the spread of mutations in the Czech Republic, because they can be clearly identified from our PCR results. Viral variants are typically detected by genome sequencing, however this takes a long time. Our PCR tests can identify mutations faster!

Our saliva tests allow easy self-collection, which you can do at home. Then, however, the samples have to be delivered to a diagnostic laboratory, which will evaluate them. At the moment, we are developing tests that you could fully do at home.

Please contact us using this form, and we will get in touch with you with more details.
